CEREC: Same Day Crown
CEREC: Same Day Crown Melbourne North West
If you want a tooth restoration and don’t want to wait for it, CEREC might be right for you. Dental Couture at Melbourne North West offers CEREC dental restorations to give our patients the opportunity to get the work done quicker and more efficiently.
It requires fewer office visits while you benefit from a permanent restoration that looks and functions like your own, natural teeth.
What is CEREC?
CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic and is a method used to create dental prosthesis right at our office. Dental restorations can save your teeth by repairing damage from injury, trauma, or decay. Using specialised equipment, we can design and create dental crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and even dental bridges and dentures.
Our Happy Patient
How it Works
CEREC takes advantage of computer-aided design, or CAD, to create a ceramic reconstruction. A fun way to remember CEREC is to think of it as “CEramic REConstruction” that takes just one visit. The CAD technology along with computer-aided manufacturing opens the door to create dental crowns, inlay, onlays, and more quickly with precise fitting for comfort and function.
During a dental exam, we will take x-rays, scans, pictures, or anything else needed to gain a full 3D view of your mouth. This information is uploaded into our computer and with the magic of CEREC technology, your prosthesis will be created from a single block of ceramic or resin. Your new tooth or teeth will feel and function just like or better than your natural teeth.
